Het bedrijf is in 1945 opgericht door Mechal Rabinowicz. Hij verkreeg in 1944 een patent op een constructie die bedoeld was "to eliminate the control knobs or buttons which are normally provided on the casing of a wireless receiver for the purpose of tuning the receiver to the required transmission". Op basis hiervan werd het Emor Globe radiotoestel ontworpen.
